About Zensical Studio

Zensical is our Open Source tooling for building technical documentation and other knowledge-focused content. It contains everything you need to build your project.

Zensical Studio is project-aware authoring tooling for Docs-as-Code teams. It provides authoring support by providing immediate feedback through syntax highlighting, completions, refactoring and validation. It works in the editor of your choice (VSCode supported at launch), so requires virtually no time to adopt.

You no longer need to evaluate and choose combinations of editor extensions from multiple sources. Instead, you get a vertically integrated solution that works across your entire project and provides an unprecedented authoring experience. Zensical Studio supports Python Markdown including the extensions that Zensical itself supports. Other editor extensions only work with CommonMark, which means that their support for your Zensical or Material for MkDocs projects is limited.

At launch, Zensical Studio already provides a best-in-class authoring experience but our roadmap shows that this is only the beginning.
