Open Source projects

Open Source is the foundation of our work. We believe the tools required to create, build, and publish documentation should remain portable, adaptable, and under your control.

We build Zensical and the projects behind it in public under the MIT license. You can adopt, modify, and keep using them independently, without relying on Zensical Studio or Spark.

The public documentation and backlog repositories support these projects but are not separate products. You can find every public repository in the Zensical organization on GitHub.

What comes next

Our Open Source roadmap explains the foundations we are building, what we are working on now, and the longer-term direction of the stack.
