Submission guidelines¶
These guidelines keep issues and pull requests useful and manageable. We may close or redirect submissions that do not meet them, explaining what is needed or where to continue.
Preparing your submission¶
Complete the template¶
Provide the information requested by the relevant template. We may close a submission when essential context is missing or requested information remains unanswered. Add the missing details and tell us when it is ready. We can then reopen it and continue the review.
Review AI-assisted work¶
We welcome submissions informed by automated analysis or prepared with AI tools. They are reviewed under the same standards as any other contribution. Review, understand, and verify all content before submitting it. Raw or unverified output may be closed as incomplete.
How we keep work organized¶
Duplicate issues¶
We close duplicates in favor of the existing issue or pull request so context and updates remain in one place. Continue the discussion there and add any new information you have.
Questions and support¶
Issue trackers are for actionable bug reports, documentation issues, change requests, and implementation work. We may close questions and direct them to our community-led Discord.
Focused discussions¶
Keep comments relevant to the current issue or pull request. Open a separate submission for a distinct concern, and use a reaction when an acknowledgment is all that is needed.
Reopening issues¶
We may close a submission again when it is reopened without the requested information or other materially new context. Add that context before asking us to reconsider it.
